Limiting Functions When the Security Key Is Turned OFF

To "Settings/Registration Table"

You can set the level of restriction that is placed on the use of the machine when the Security Key is turned to the OFF position.

For information on the optional products required to use this function, see "Optional Products Required for Each Function."

  1. Press (Settings/Registration) → [Management Settings] → [Device Management] → [Limit Functions When Security Key is Off].
  1. Select [Limit Partial Functions] or [Limit All Functions] → press [OK].

Details of each item are shown below.

[Limit Partial Functions]: You can only use the printing/RX printing functions.
[Limit All Functions]: All of the machine's functions are prohibited from use.
