To "Settings/Registration Table"

If your machine is connected to a PBX (Private Branch Exchange), it is necessary to set the access method. You can set the PBX type to [Prefix] or [Hooking]. If you register the outside line access number in the R-Key, you can easily access the outside line.

1. Press (Settings/Registration) → [Function Settings] → [Send] → [Fax Settings] → [R-key Setting].

2. Select [PSTN] or [PBX].

• Select [Prefix] or [Hooking].

If you select [Prefix] (outside line access number), press [CODE] → enter the prefix code using - (numeric keys).

If you select [Hooking] , press [OK].

• Make sure to enter a pause after the prefix code. If you press [Pause] to enter a pause, <P> is displayed. If you do not insert a pause, the prefix code is not registered.
